Supports the marketing team in product development, project management, providing reports and analysis, and developing strong relationships with customers, vendors and the media; identifying and implementing opportunities for marketing and branding Pyramyd Air as the number one choice for Air guns and Airsoft information, products and accessories.

Graphic Design Responsibilities (75%)

Create graphics for online use, including digital campaigns, promotional emails, website graphics, social media graphics, 3rd party advertising, and other needs determined by the marketing and/or technology teams

Design creative digital campaigns and promotional emails to drive quality leads and conversions.

Fulfill requests from the marketing team to design and execute market-level email marketing campaigns.

Collaborate with marketing and content management teams to fulfil design requests and keep the website fresh and current.

UI Responsibilities (25%)

Collaborate with marketing and end-users to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience

Conceptualize and design user-friendly digital and web experiences, execute all visual design stages from concept to final implementation with development teams

Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks

Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders

Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback

Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Requirements and Competencies/Experience

Graphic Design Requirements

Degree in graphic design

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite. HTML experience a must

Strong email marketing design experience

Working knowledge of responsive web design techniques

Able to write and understand documented, reusable code

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate

Desire to stay current on design trends and techniques

Very detailed-oriented, with great organizational and project management skills

Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively across multiple teams

Portfolio or link to electronic samples of design work required for consideration

UI Experience (preferred, not required)

Proven UI experience

Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio

Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools

Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.

Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
